PROJECT MANAGEMENT
10% of Project Cost
For projects over £50,000 a supplement of 4% will be applied.
All CPM contracts are insurance backed, certificates of cover will be provided once appointed and contracts signed. Contracts include, six site visits:
COMMENCEMENT
This marks the beginning of the project, indicating the first site visit to review initial stages of work and ensure everything is set to proceed according to plan.
DPC LEVEL
Damp Proof Course (DPC) level visit ensures that measures to prevent moisture from rising into the building are in place, a critical checkpoint for building integrity.
FIRST FLOOR
This visit occurs once the construction reaches the first-floor level, allowing for inspection of the progress made above the foundation, including structural integrity and adherence to plans.
WALL PLATE
At this stage, the visit focuses on the point where the roof structure meets the top of the wall, ensuring that the wall plate is correctly installed for roof support.
ROOF STRUCTURE
This inspection ensures the roof has been constructed properly, focusing on the structural integrity, materials used, and the correct installation of the roofing framework.
COMPLETION
The final visit, signifying the project's end, where all aspects of the construction are reviewed to ensure that the work is completed to the agreed standards and ready for handover.
Should additional site visits beyond these six be required, a charge of £250 will be incurred for each extra visit. It's also noted that if any of the scheduled visits are deemed unnecessary due to the pace of construction or external factors like cancelled meetings, the contract price remains unchanged. All mentioned fees are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) unless stated otherwise.
